I’m creating this website to share with people the joy of being thin after losing 100 pounds, eating a healthy whole food, plant-based diet. I tell my story of being diagnosed with coronary artery disease and being told by my doctor I needed angioplasty and 1-4 stents put in my heart.

Instead, I researched other ways to regain my health and thanks to Harvard University’s website and Dean Ornish, M.D.’s book on reversing heart disease, I was able to regain my health without angioplasty and become a healthy person who is happy and thin.

I have not eaten meat, eggs or dairy products for 12 years and I love not being hungry, not craving unhealthy food and not ever having to count calories or weigh my food.

I am excited about sharing my story with people who would like to become healthy and lose weight but have, like me, been unsuccessful in the past. I will post once a week and include plans for those who are ready to embrace a whole food, plant-based food program as well as those who know it’s a way to become healthy, happy and thin but need a little time to embrace the whole food program.
